Press Release Body = How to Play Party Poker for Mac
Party Poker, one of the world\'s leading poker rooms, has been around a long time, yet has never had Mac compatibility. That is changing. Two recent releases have made Party Poker available for Mac users, and this is causing quite a stir in the poker world.
We will take a look at these recent developments and show you how you can play Party Poker for Mac (http://www.macpokeronline.com/mac/online/poker/party-poker).
1. Party Poker\'s New No Download Software - Beta Version The most common way for poker rooms to be Mac compatible is to have no download software. Party Poker has been secretly at work and has just released a beta version of no download software. This beta version runs very well, but lacks most of Party Poker\'s standard features and only hosts play money tables. Party Poker wants to be one hundred percent certain that their no download software works before they let people play for real money. Party Poker\'s no download software is a great development, and I\'m sure the poker world is eagerly awaiting the full version.
2. Party Poker\'s Native Mac Download Software There was a rumor going around about the release of a native Mac download of PartyPoker. I did my own research and found it to be correct, but with some strings attached. The downloadable software is not currently available at PartyPoker.com, but can be found at PartyPoker.net, a free play online poker site. If you are looking to play Mac Party Poker for real money, then don\'t expect to see a downloadable version for at least a few months from the time of this publishing.
3. Apple Boot Camp The other recent development allowing Mac users to play on Party Poker is Apple Boot Camp. Apple Boot Camp makes it possible for Mac users to install Microsoft Windows XP on their Intel-based Macs. Windows is installed on a separate partition of the Mac\'s hard drive, allowing the Mac to run in either Windows or normal mode. The Windows environment is complete, with all Windows tasks able to be performed, including the download, installation, and running of the Party Poker software.
Another, less known way to play Party Poker for Mac is to use a PC emulator. This is especially useful for non-Intel based Macs which can\'t use Apple Boot Camp. Check out our guide on PC emulators to learn more.
